If spectacular seafood is your thing then you definitely need to head to the Mizen Head Hotel towards the outskirts of the Village. The menu leans heavily to fresh fish and seafood (and with the wealth of produce from the North Sea why wouldn’t it?) but they do also have a decent range for those not fond of fish. The staff are friendly, the presentation of the food excellent and a good wine list to go with it – just remember to book ahead!
